Since the CDFCR (Center of Dengue Fever Control and Research) was built in 2015, we commited to studying the application and prevention of dengue virus.

Nowadays, with the global climate change and the spread of diseases, tropical medicine is getting more and more attention. In this situation, we hope to expand our research efforts and energy. Therefore, our center changed to be "Center for Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease Research" in 2019.

In the future, we will continue integrating the clinical and basic research resources of Kaohsiung Medical University's medical system with domestic and foreign research energy, we hope to establish a tropical medical research center in southern Taiwan.
